Serengeti (Tanzania) Tanzania

Cheetahs, leopards, hippos, giraffes, and African elephants are just a few of the thousands of animal species you'll find across the more than thirteen thousand square kilometers of the Serengeti Nature Reserve in Tanzania. The name "Serengeti" is derived from the Masai language, meaning "land without end". This vast plain is filled with miles of grassland and open forest. One of the most iconic features of this nature reserve is the migration of wildebeests, gazelles, and zebras, which is one of the most awe-inspiring natural spectacles you can witness today, attracting many tourists. The Serengeti National Park was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981. There are many interesting places to visit, such as Seronera (the central zone), a small area that is home to a wide variety of animal species. In addition to the wildlife, there are numerous activities to enjoy, such as a balloon safari over the nature reserve, visiting a hippo pond, climbing "Naabi Hill" and taking in the breathtaking views. Overall, it's the perfect place to connect with nature.
